Verizon said today that Motorola DROID and HTC Imagio owners can control their FiOS set-top boxes with their phones beginning today. Future device support is expected in the future, too.

The Motorola DROID may not feature multitouch in its browser just yet, but today Google announced Google Maps 3.4 for the phone, which adds multitouch functionality. The download is available in the Android Market for free.
